Meet The District 54 Trio

This Year The Top District Leadership Is Composed Of Three Outstanding, Experienced Toastmasters With A Strong History Of Service To D54 
Valerie Horton, DTM, Is District Director. She Has Been A Toastmaster Since 2005. Her Toastmaster Career Was Launched At A Speechcraft Session In 2004. Valerie Belongs To Three Clubs Caterpillar Employees (East Peoria), Forging Leaders (Peoria) And DTM Advanced (LaSalle). This Year Valeries Top Priority Is To Support District Members And Improve The Overall Member Experience. She Also Is Dedicated To Improving Communication Within The District. Additionally, Valerie Has Three Specific Goals For Her Tenure 1) Build 12 New Clubs, 2) Bring 60 Percent Of Clubs To Charter Strength Twenty Members Or Better, And 3) Lead 50 Percent Of Clubs To Distinguished Status.

Angela Mullin, ACB, ALB, Is District Program Quality Director. She Has Been A Toastmaster Since 2011, And Like Valerie, Was Recruited Through A Speechcraft Workshop. Angela Belongs To Power Communicators (Mossville) And DTM Advanced (LaSalle). Her Mission This Year Is To Ensure That Every D54 Toastmaster Receives A Quality Club Experience. Angela Is Dedicated To Providing Superior Training Opportunities And Educational Programs At All Levels Of Membership. She Has Resolved To Assist Club Officers, Area Directors And Division Directors Achieve Their Personal Goals And Help Them Meet The Needs Of Their Constituents In Any Way She Can.

Tony Koury, DTM, Is Club Growth Director. He Has Been A Member Of Toastmasters Since 2003. Tony Belongs To Power Communicators (Mossville), DTM Advanced (LaSalle), And Mapleton Risers (Mapleton). His Top Priority This Year Is To Support The Districts Goal Of Building 12 New Clubs. Additionally, He Is Committed To Offering Support And Resources So Struggling Clubs Will Be Able To Achieve Charter Strength Twenty Members Or Better. At Charter Strength, Clubs Are Better Able To Reach Their Potential And Assist Their Members In Achieving Their Communication And Leadership Goals.
