Celebrate Each Other (CEO)
Take time to celebrate everyone’s accomplishments, large and small. Words of encouragement create a lasting imprint upon people’s hearts and souls when least expected. Make it a point to clap enthusiastically, over and over again. In the words of A. A. Milne: “Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
Create Extraordinary Opportunities (CEO)
Jerry Evans, DTM, member of Toast of the Fox Toastmasters, reminds us that there are two remarkable, unforgettable milestones in Toastmasters members’ lives:
- the day we were born, and
- the day we figured out why we joined District 54 Toastmasters
At the stroke of midnight, June 30, 2016, we mark the close of the 2015-16 Toastmasters year. It has been a privilege and honor to serve you as Lt Governor Marketing, Lt Governor Education and Training, and District Director over the past three years. Oh, the places we’ve been!
Thanks to each and every member who has inspired, aspired, perspired, and who has made a distinct difference in the lives of members, past and present. You Matter, Members Matter. With your help, Toastmasters District 54 will continue to change lives, one member at a time. Oh, the places we’ll go!
Continue to let your light shine, and brighten the pathways. Create extraordinary opportunities for yourselves, your colleagues, and potential new members, to make a profound impact by reaching out to people who could benefit in a special way from a District 54 Toastmasters experience, as a communicator, and leader. We will be glad you did!
With gratitude and appreciation,
